Well right back to Resident Evil lineart again.
This is a fanart of Steve Burnside from the Resident Evil franchise who's been debated as dead or alive by many fans, including myself. Personally, I think Steve being alive could interject alot of good into the Resident Evil franchise.
This fanart is somewhat part of a fanfic in my head which hasn't been thought through at all. I can only say Steve is in New York, and a virus gets loose. This drawing was spontanious so I don't know how it got loose. But the bottom line is, Steve is on the way to a secret lab he found out about, on a mercenary mission, to get research that could propably cure his T-veronica virus, as he takes an antigen to keep it at bay. With the city having all the possibilities to end up like Racoon City, Steve has to race against time, and infected to get to that lab. In this scene he's running for the lab, and a Soldier who gets a zombie in his face, fires an 40mm grenade in Steve's direction blowing down the brick wall beside him.
The firepower Steve is holding is an Famas Felin G2 custom. It's barrel has been shorted to the lenght of that of a Famas G2 shorty, underbarrel he has an FN EGLM, he also has Magpul Mbus sights, a Trijicon ACOG scope with an RMR sight above it for CQC, He has magpul rail covers, an gemtech adapter, and 30 round Pmags in his gun.
The title comes from controlled substance which is any drug, or chemical regulated by the government. But since the govt. lost control of this particular virus, I'm sure it's an uncontrolled substance. Well I had a bit of fun drawing some destruction in this, and I know it's gonna be a pain to color. Haha, I love how Steve's chibi is responding! Good stuff, bro! Again, a bit of Steve fanart is always appreciated.
